User data deletion

This page satisfies Meta's user data deletion callback requirement for the Ads Forge app (2143117803247915) under THE APP FORGE. It does not apply to MadComms.

How to revoke and request deletion

In Ads Forge, open Connections and disconnect Meta (Facebook Page and Instagram), Google Ads, YouTube, or TikTok. That wipes the stored access and refresh tokens for that connection immediately. Disconnect TikTok also asks TikTok to revoke Ads Forge's access. Disconnect Meta also asks Meta to remove Ads Forge's permissions, unless the same Facebook login still connects another organisation in Ads Forge or the token came from another Meta app; the screen then says so.
On the platform, revoke Ads Forge in Facebook settings, and revoke Google Ads, YouTube or TikTok access (for Google, at https://security.google.com/settings/security/permissions) if you connected them.
Email THE APP FORGE from the Facebook user that authorised Ads Forge, or use Meta's "Remove app" flow. You can also open /data-deletion after that flow.
We delete stored access and refresh tokens, generated creatives tied to that user, and hashed organisation machine keys within 30 days. A request Meta sends us is carried out straight away: every Meta connection and token made with that Facebook login is deleted, and the details of the Meta leads read with it are erased in Pipe Forge.
Campaigns, ads, and posts already created stay on Meta, Google, and TikTok — pause or delete them in those UIs. Ads Forge will not re-enable them.

YouTube data we hold is deleted within 7 days of a request. Deleting it from Ads Forge doesn't delete videos on YouTube.

Automated Meta callback: POST /api/meta/data-deletion accepts only a request signed by Meta with our app secret, carries out the deletion, and returns a confirmation code. Its status, with what was deleted and anything still to do, is at /data-deletion?code=... (and GET /api/meta/data-deletion?code=...).

Meta lead ads: deleting leads

Leads from Instant Forms are stored in the business's Pipe Forge pipeline (https://pipe.theappforge.app), not in Ads Forge.
A person who submitted a form can ask the business, or email wessel@theappforge.app with the business's name and the email or phone number they gave. A business can ask for one lead, all of its Meta leads, or its whole workspace to be deleted. We delete it within 30 days and confirm by email.
Page access tokens are never stored, so there is none to delete. Disconnecting Meta stops new leads being read.
